Reference number : 1567717 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2022-02-28 Submission sent electronically accepted: Non PROJECT : Professional services for the development of the master plan for the creation of the Île Sainte-Thérèse metropolitan park DOSSIER : 1322-11-41 The City of Varennes is requesting bids for professional services for the development of a master plan for the creation of the Île Sainte-Thérèse metropolitan park. The firm must carry out all the work implicit and inherent in the performance of the mandate, including those not specifically described, but necessary for the perfect performance of the contractual work. As stipulated in article 8 of the general administrative clauses, the tenderer must make sure to include all the documents requested by the City. Failure to provide any of these documents may result in the rejection of the bid. Tenders must be submitted in six (6) copies (1 original and 5 copies) and be accompanied by the following documents: a certified cheque, money order, bank draft or bid bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid price including taxes, valid for a period of one hundred and twenty (120) days; a letter of intent issued by a company duly authorized by the AMF to carry out surety activities and undertaking, upon award of the contract to the tenderer, to issue a performance bond for an amount equivalent to 50 % of the tender price, as well as a bond to guarantee the payment of wages, materials and wages for an amount equivalent to 50% of the tender price including taxes. These guarantees must be valid for a period of one hundred and twenty (120) days. The City of Varennes does not undertake to accept either the lowest or any of the tenders received and cannot be held responsible or incur any obligation or expense of any kind towards the tenderer(s) in the event of the rejection or cancellation of tenders.
