Reference Number : 1567393 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2022-02-25 Submission sent electronically accepted: Yes, in a single submission document Expected duration of the contract without the options (in months): 24 REPLACEMENT OF THE COVER, RENOVATION OF VARIOUS COMPONENTS OF THE BUILDING AND THE ATHLETICS TRACK 5211, rue Principale, Saint-Felix-de-Valois, QC, J0K 2M0 Public notice is hereby given that the PUBLIC BODY wishes to launch a call for tenders relating to the execution of the REPLACEMENT OF THE COVER, RENOVATION OF VARIOUS COMPONENTS OF THE BUILDING AND THE ATHLETICS TRACK, at the Erabliere high school, at 5211, rue Principale, Saint-Felix-de-Valois. APPLICABLE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENTS This invitation to tender is subject to the following intergovernmental agreements: o AGREEMENT TO LIBERALIZE PUBLIC CONTRACTS IN QUEBEC AND NEW BRUNSWICK; o TRADE AND COOPERATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN QUEBEC AND ONTARIO; o CANADIAN FREE TRADE AGREEMENT; o COMPREHENSIVE ECONOMIC AND TRADE AGREEMENT BETWEEN CANADA AND THE EUROPEAN UNION; SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF WORK The work covered by these presents includes, but is not limited to: - The complete repair of the roof including the dismantling of the chimney, the relocation of two wall-mounted condensers on the roof, the dismantling of the dry cooler, interventions on some solar panels and the installation of new condensers on an existing structure to be modified; - Replacement of insulation elbows containing asbestos; - Cleaning the ventilation; - The replacement of several electrical panels throughout the building; - The installation of temperature probes in the academic premises, the replacement of the intercommunication devices in all the premises and various works in automatic regulation; - Addition of an air exchanger, upgrading and modification of the school's main ventilation system. Field work: - Repair of the athletics track with drainage all around; - The addition of two concrete slabs for ping-pong tables (outside the contract) and for an outdoor classroom; - The creation of a gravel surface for the development of an outdoor classroom; - The development of an asphalt path in front to connect the school to the pedestrian crossing. On the ground floor: - The repair of the dressing rooms of the auditorium including two individual washrooms; - The renovation and refitting of the administration washrooms with a mixed washroom including the refitting of the visitors' locker room, the concierge, storage and the individual washrooms in the staff lounge; - The creation of a polished concrete floor on the existing slab of the corridors and the replacement of 159 lockers for the students; - The replacement of several doors including exit doors with the addition of magnetic retainers; - Repair of ventilation, several ceilings and lighting in several rooms in wing D, including automatic regulation work; - Replacement of cabinets and kitchen counter in room D-16B; - The creation of an additional exit in the D wing; - Replacement of the lighting in the vestibules; - Replacement of hot water tanks; - The replacement of two automatic door openers. Upstairs: - The addition of 3 emergency showers and the replacement of the two fume hoods in the laboratories; - The addition of a door in class room H-26 and the relocation of a deposit door; - The addition of two exterior exit stairs leading to the reorganization of several premises to meet the needs of the occupants. The work will be carried out in occupation. The contractor must plan work in several phases, evenings and/or weekends, during the summer period and ensure that the normal operations of each of the sectors can continue at all times and in complete safety. Before starting, the work must be planned by the general contractor with a work schedule, describing each of the construction phases. Start date of works: April 4, 2022 Date of Acceptance With Reservation of works: October 27, 2023 The PUBLIC BODY does not undertake to accept any of the tenders received within the framework of this call for tenders. Bidders are invited to participate in the information meeting, including a site visit, offered by the PUBLIC BODY. Failure to participate cannot serve as an excuse or pretext for errors, omissions or irregularities on the part of a bidder in the drafting of his bid. Each bidder is responsible for sending a representative to this meeting. In addition, the PUBLIC BODY assumes no responsibility vis-a-vis bidders who do not attend an information meeting, including a site visit, in relation to the information that may have been given during the latter. . SUBMISSION GUARANTEE The tenderer must accompany his tender with a tender guarantee equivalent to TEN PERCENT (10%) of the total price proposed in his tender. This bid security must be produced in one of the following forms: (a) a bond; b) an irrevocable letter of guarantee issued in favor of the PUBLIC BODY by a financial institution. CLOSING OF OFFICES If, for exceptional circumstances, the PUBLIC BODY has to close its doors on the day indicated for the site visit and/or for the receipt of tenders, this date will be postponed to the next working day, at the same places and times. This tender notice represents an overview of certain conditions set out in the tender documents, of which it forms an integral part. The tenderer must read all the tender documents. Performance bond and materials and services of each corresponding 50% is required.
