CITY OF SANDY - SANDYNET FIBER EXPANSION TO UNDERSERVED AREAS REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) FTTX DESIGN/BUILD The City of Sandy ("City") seeks proposals from a qualified contractors to provide a design-build project for fiber expansion to underserved areas within Sandy as well as specified city facilities. The City intends to award a contract to one consultant. The amount of homes/businesses served will vary based on the cost of construction from the response. The project contains funds contributed from the American Rescue Plan (ARPA) as well as funds from a Sewer/Wastewater Loan. The winner is responsible for designing/engineering plans for the two sections of the project as well as being able to hire/perform the construction of the design. The RFP process requires acknowledgement from the City of intent on responding as well as submission of questions/clarification.
