Renovation of a fire / police facility in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
This solicitation is for the Removal and Replacement of a 200kw Diesel Generator for the Louisiana State Police Troop D, located at 805 Main Street, Lake Charles, LA 70615. The job is to be performed in accordance with the enclosed scope of work and specifications. For any bid submitted in the amount of $50,000 or more, a bid security (insurance company, bank money order, certified check, or cashiers check made payable to State of Louisiana - Department of Public Safety and Corrections) must be included with the bidders submission in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount bid (including base bid and additive alternates, if any) and shall become the property of the agency in the event the contract and bond are not executed within the time set forth in the bid solicitation. Failure to do so will remove the bid from consideration. Please refer to Attachment A: Special Terms and Conditions page four (4) for complete details of this requirement. The state of louisiana reserves the right to award items separately, grouped or on an all-or-none Basis and to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities. Bids may be rejected if the delivery time indicated is longer than that specified in the solicitation.
