As of April 29, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The Project includes site expansion and rebuilding of Skamania PUD's existing North Bonneville substation as a small portion of the distribution scope required to take the substation offline. This expansion project consists of one (1) 115kV 1200A vertical break switch, one (1) 115kV 1200A candlestick circuit switcher, one (1) 115kV-12.47kV, Dyg, 15/20/25 MVA transformer, one (1) 1200A main 12.47 kV breaker, four (4) 12.47 kV distribution feeder reclosers, twelve (12) 333kVA 7.62kV voltage regulators, and a pre-fabricated control enclosure and all associated foundations. The existing BPA-owned 115KV dead-end structure and line switch will remain at the existing substation and modified as required for the expansion. The distribution portion of the project includes installation of three voltage regulators, a temporary feed to the BPA substation, and underground conduits for distribution feeders. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the PUD. The PUD reserves the right to waive minor informalities or irregularities in the bidding, accept the lowest responsible bid, reject any or all bids, or republish the call for bids. Interested contractors are strongly urged to attend the site walk. If deemed appropriate by the Engineer, questions that cannot be addressed by direct reference to the bidding documents will be the subject of an addendum issued to all plan holders.
