The owner has selected a Design Builder. Clear Creek County seeks a qualified firm to repair or replace a roof structure at its Public Works facility in Dumont. The County seeks to retain a qualified firm to provide all engineering, design, permitting and construction and/or construction oversight required to repair or replace the existing roof. The Project includes any necessary architectural, civil and structural engineering, construction testing, construction oversight, and contingency. The purpose of this Request-for-Proposal is to obtain relevant information, credentials, qualifications, experience and a proposed Project Approach from interested Firms to inform the County for selection of a roof repair or replacement method and company for the Project. Located at 3549 Stanley Road, Dumont, Colorado, the site includes an existing 2-story building on approximately 3.5 acres currently hosting Public Works offices, breakrooms and garage bays. The subject structure has an approximate roof size of 13,380 square feet and provides space for some 20 employees Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. along with vehicles and other operating equipment. The site is located along Stanley Road (frontage road) directly visible from I-70. The building is served by an onsite well and public sanitary sewer. Ideal proposals will include repair alternatives as recommended in the Roof Assessment prepared by McReynolds Consulting, dated 3/12/2019 and attached as Exhibit A, if deemed appropriate, as well as any other viable repair or replacement alternatives that would serve to correct existing leaks and extend the serviceable life of the roof. All alternatives proposed should include an estimated cost, maintenance schedule and serviceable life expectancy of the roof.
