The Lowell Housing Authority and the Board of Commissioners, the Awarding Authority, invite sealed bids from vendors to supply cabinets & countertops on an as needed basis for the Lowell Housing Authority in Lowell, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by the Lowell Housing Authority. An initial one-year contract shall be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest total bid price. LHA reserves its sole option to renew this contract for an additional one-year contact period. Questions Due Date: March 1, 2022 by 3:00 PM Questions must be submitted in writing to Lowell Housing Authority, Dept. of Finance & Procurement c/o Rita V. Brousseau, Chief Procurement Officer, 350 Moody St, Lowell, MA 01854. Anticipated LHA Board Approval: April 13, 2022 All bids must be accompanied by a negotiable bid guarantee which shall not be less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. The bid guarantee may be a certified check, bank draft, U.S. Government Bonds at par value, or a bid bond secured by a surety company acceptable to the U.S. Government and authorized to do business in the state where the work is to be performed. The LHA reserves the right to cancel the IFB, reject any or all bids and waive informalities.
