The City of Corona is seeking a qualified consultant to prepare development standards related to the city's proposed General Plan Housing Element Rezoning Program and to prepare a Supplement to the General Plan Environmental Impact Report. The rezoning program is to accommodate the planning of low and moderate-income households. The City's Housing Element Update for Planning Period 2021-2029 was adopted by the City Council on November 3, 2021. The City's Housing Element Update has been reviewed by the State's Housing and Community Development (HCD) Department. The City is continuing to work with HCD on obtaining Housing Element compliance. Project Duration: April 7, 2022 through December 30, 2022 Bid Bond 0.00%, Payment Bond 0.00%, Performance Bond 0.00%. No Pre-Bid Meeting Q&A Deadline 02/23/2022 10:00 AM (PST) The City anticipates making final selections and awards on or about March 16, 2022. The city was not able to obtain a certified Housing Element within 120 days of October 15, 2021, the city needs to complete the rezoning program by October 15, 2022, pursuant to Assembly Bill 1398. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals, or any item or part thereof, or to waive any informalities or irregularities in proposals. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
