The services in include costs for the scope of work described in ikon.5's drawings and specifications, all by DCA certified inspectors, and shall include daily written reports, sampling, and testing: A. Soils per IBC 2018 1705.6: 1. Soil Compaction Testing and Inspection including density and moisture tests to confirm it conforms to design requirements (ASTM D-2922/D-3017). 2. Soil Laboratory Testing (ASTM D-422, D-1140, D-4318, D-698, D-1557, etc.) 3. Shallow Foundation/ Footing Bottom Testing and Inspection verifying bearing capacities that meet design requirements and geotechnical report 4. Controlled structural fill meet methods and requirements of the geotechnical report B. Concrete Inspections per IBC 2018 1705.3, ASTM C1077, ASTM E329: 1. Sampling fresh concrete (ASTM C-172/172M) 2. Fields inspections for forms, truck mixing, design mix, mesh, slump tests (ASTM C-143/143M), slump flow (ASTM C1611/C1611M) temperature (ASTM C1064/C1064M), air content (ASTM C-231/C231M), placement, and unit weight testing (ASTM C567/C567M) 3. Make cylinders for compressive strength (ASTM C-31/C-31M, C-39/C-39M) laboratory tests 4. Laboratory break tests for compressive strength and type of break for 7-day,28-day and 56-day breaks. 5. Concrete batch plant inspection 6. Core cylinders (ASTM C-42/C-42M, ACI 301/301M) 7. Floor Flatness/Levelness (ASTM E1 155/ ASTM E1 155M) 8. Reports (ASTM C31/31M, ASTM C39/C39M, ACI 301) C. Reinforcing Steel to verify installation per approved plans, rebar size, coatings, grade of steel, placement, laps, clearances, etc. D. Masonry/ Grout testing shall include samples of materials, material certification, field inspections brick/ CMU compressive strength, grout inspection, mix and reinforcing, anchors and ties, weather protection. (IBC NJ ed. 2018 1705.4, C-109, C-140, C-780, C-1019, C-1314, etc.) E. Structural Steel Testing and Inspections (per IBC 2018 1705.2, AISC, ICC, and AWS D1.1/D1.1M): 1. Shop and field welds-size, lengths, locations 2. Shop and field bolt-torque, type of bolts per design 3. Square, plumb, and level 4. Coatings 5. Steel members conform to approved plans F. Steel Decking (per IBC NJ Ed. 2018 1705.2.2, AWS D1.1/D1.1M) 1. Welds to meet AWS standards 2. Sidelap connections 3. Shear connections G. Cold-formed Steel Framing to inspect material, sizes, thickness, mechanical connections, welding, and details against approved shop drawings and specifications. H. Polymer-based Exterior Insulation according to ICC-ES AC24 I. Air Barrier inspections per ABAA, IBC 2018 1705.16, ASTM D-4541, E-2357-05, E-1677, ASHRAE 90.1- 2013 and 189.1-2011. J. Fireproofing Inspections (Applied & Intumescent IBC, 1704.11.): Field inspections to confirm meets design requirements, surrounding materials, thickness, density, adhesion/cohesion, and bonding. (ASTM E605, E736, etc.) per IBC 2018 1705.14. K. Fire stopping per IBC 2018 1705.17, ASTM E-2750-13e1, 814-11a, E-2393-10a, E-1966-07. L. Joint Sealant per ASTM C-1193, C-1521 M. Waterproofing per ASTM D-6506-01, D-5147/ M-11a, E-154-08a 1. Electric Field Vector Mapping N. Asphalt: thickness, temperature, rolling operation, compaction O. Urethane and Mercury Vapor Testing: Environmental Scientist, Industrial Hygienist and Testing to obtain bulk samples for vapor testing and analysis P. Smoke Control per IBC 2018 1705.18 Q. Auger Cast Piles 1. Pile excavation, placement, and testing. 2. Steel reinforcement welding. 3. Grout Samples (ASTM C172/C172M), Flow rate (ASTM C939 and ASTM C109/C109M), Compressive strength (ASTM C109/C109M and ASTM C942) 4. Low strain integrity testing ( ASTM D5882) 5. Pile inspection reports: Pile location. Pile diameter. Actual top and bottom elevations. Final top centerline location and deviations from requirements. Variation from plumb. Date and time of starting and completing. Position and condition of reinforcing steel and splices or mechanical couplings. Automatic monitoring equipment record including grout volume actually pumped. Grout testing results. Remarks, unusual conditions encountered, and deviations from requirements. 6. Certified piles survey R. Delivery and/or pick-up of samples as required. S. Reports and timesheets for all services shall be issued and signed by Anser daily. Anser shall be issued reports per inspection (daily reports) and written letter(s) signed and sealed once the project is complete verifying all inspections are in compliance with the project specifications so this can be issued to DCA and part of the project records. T. Use of Premises 1. Contractor shall restrict work, staff and debris to the contract premises and as authorized by the University. Contractor is responsible for coordination of trades to ensure timely completion of work and to minimize disruption of the activities of the University. 2. Limit use of premises to work in areas indicated. Do not disturb portions of Project site beyond the site perimeter unless prior approval of the University is received prior to conduction of such work or operations. Contractor parking defined in Division 1 section 3. Driveways & Entrances: Keep driveways and entrances serving premises clear and available to Rowan University, Rowan employees, and emergency vehicles at all times. 4. Do not use areas outside the limit of construction site for parking or storage of materials. 5. Upon completion of work, the awarded vendor is responsible for leaving any construction areas in clean condition.
