This solicitation is for the removal and proper disposal of sludge from Authority's Well 3 Water Filtration Facility Waste Tank. Any bidder wishing to visit the BCRA Well 3 Water Filtration Facility prior to bidding should call Dean Johnson at 570-656-5127 for arrangements. Questions on the bid specifications should be addressed to Chris A. Borger, P.E., Operations Manager, at (570) 421-3232 All bids shall be firm and may not be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days from the bid opening date. Bids may be held by the Authority for review for a period up to thirty (30) days from the bid opening date. Bid security in the form of money orders, bid bonds, certified checks or cashier's checks for the amount of 10% of the total bid is required. Bonds are to be issued by a surety licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Successful bidder must provide a copy of their most recent insurance certificate and operating license or permits. This includes all local, state and federal permits for land application or disposal through a wastewater treatment plant or sludge processing facility. This service will be provided during the general period of April 2022 through March 2023 from the Brodhead Creek Regional Authority (BCRA) Well 3 Water Filtration Facility located at 5490 Glenbrook Road, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. This term of the contract shall be for one (1) year with specific dates as established in the contract. The Owner may require the Manufacturer/Distributor/Supplier to dismiss from the work such employee, employees or subcontractor as the Owner or the Professional may deem incompetent, careless, or insubordinate.
