**As of 5/13/2022 project was awarded to Asphalt Maintenance Solutions, LLCawa amount$ $265,556.02 Lower Macungie Township will receive sealed bids for its 2022 High Performance Chip Seal/Quick Set Fog Seal Program (19 Roadways/73,369 SY). Bid results will be made available electronically after bid opening. Each bid must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a certified or bank check, or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Pub. 408, made payable to Lower Macungie Township, in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid price. The successful Bidder must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds each in an amount equal to the Contract Price and meeting Publication 408, Section 103.04 requirements. Bidders must be prequalified per Pub. 408, Section 102. This project is considered maintenance and is not subject to the terms and conditions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, as determined by the Secretary of Labor and Industry, and is to be bid as such. The successful bidder is assessed a variable award fee from . Lower Macungie Township reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any or all Bids.
