Background. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is soliciting quotes for Empire Ranch Site Roof Barn repairs, in the Las Cienegas National Conservation Area (LCNCA). BLM is working toward the preservation of the ranch buildings and to enhance the educational and recreational opportunities they offer to the general public. The work site is on BLM managed land, along SR83 north of the Town of Sonoita, approximately 60 miles from Tucson, in Santa Cruz County, Southeastern Arizona Provide all labor, transportation, equipment, and supplies necessary to repair two roof barns in close proximity to each other. The roof barns must be repaired using existing corrugated metal sheets supplied on site following pattern and layout of corrugated metal sheets already to use. The repairs must follow the existing barn architecture and style consistent with the Empire Ranch cowboy nostalgia. As used in this Notice, and in any contract resulting from this solicitation, the "covered area" is the Empire Ranch Site in the Las Cienegas National Conservation Area in Sonoita, AZ.
