Event #5059 ACCESSION No. 705367 Replacement of Existing Facilities Fuel Storage Tanks Barre and Southborough. This contract is subject to a 7.24% MBE and a 3.6% WBE participation requirement. Questions must be submitted by 4:00 PM, Wednesday, March 16, 2022. Furnishing and installing all items necessary for the installation of new fuel storage tanks, full piping, new vehicle fuel dispensers, upgraded leak detection and tank monitoring. The Work to be performed under this Contract includes but is not limited to: 1. Demolition and disposal of existing fuel storage tanks, piping, dispensers, electrical conduits, wiring, fuel management system and site features at Lonergan Intake Lower Garage and Southborough Facilities. 2. Demolition and disposal of existing fuel island canopy at Lonergan Intake Lower Garage. 3. Furnish and install fuel storage tanks, piping, dispensers, electrical conduits, wiring, and site features at Lonergan Intake Lower Garage and Southborough Facilities. 4. Furnish and install new fuel island canopy and dry chemical fire suppression system at Lonergan Intake Lower Garage. 5. Fuel management system will be installed by Fleet Data Systems, LLC at Lonergan Intake Lower Garage and Southborough Facilities. 6. Install new concrete fuel islands, concrete tank pads, concrete fueling aprons, and bituminous asphalt pavement as indicated. 7. Furnish, install, and maintain temporary fencing and erosion controls for the duration of the Contract. 8. Start-up and performance testing of new systems. 9. Site restoration and disposal of excess or unsuitable material. 10. While all the required work for this project will be done sequentially; the Southborough Facilities shall be done first. No construction activities are to occur simultaneously between Lonergan Intake Lower Garage and Southborough Facilities.
