The estimated construction cost for the project is between $1,200,000 and $1,600,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The project generally consists of, but is not limited to, the following work: Renovation of existing Bathrooms to include the following: Replacement of existing wall-hung sinks & associated plumbing in Handicap Units. Install new Vanity Cabinets & Sinks in all standard units. Replacement of Bathtub Faucets & associated plumbing, Tub Surrounds, and moisture resistant Sheetrock. Provide new Handicap Grab Bars and blocking at tubs in Handicap Units, new Tub Surrounds and replacement of rotten wall studs and new MR sheetrock. Provide new wiring for a Single Switch for the existing Light & Exhaust fixture. Each prime bidder must deposit with his bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid. Bid Bonds and Performance and Payment Bonds must be secured by a guaranty or a surety company listed in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570 and shall be within the maximum amount specified for such company in said Circular 570. The "Bid Bond" and the "Performance and Payment Bond" must be issued by a surety company authorized to do business in the state where the project is located, and must be listed in U.S. Treasury Circular No. 570. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
