Anticipated Award of Contract date: March 7, 2022 Anticipated Start of Construction: June 3, 2022 Anticipated Substantial Completion date: October 10, 2022 Bids shall be submitted on or before the specified closing time in an opaque sealed envelope addressed to: Mr. Greg Lundy, Director of Support Services, 601 W. Morgan Avenue, Chesterton,IN 46304, ATTENTION: 2022 Orchestra Pit Renovations at: Chesterton High School - BID. Lump sum bid proposals will be received for this project at the scheduled time. Bids received after this time shall be returned unopened. G.Bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check in an amount equal to 10 percent of the base bid amount shall be submitted with the bid. Should a bid bond be submitted, the bid bond shall be payable to the Duneland School Corporation. The Board of School Trustees of the Duneland School Corporation reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or to waive any irregularities or informalities, and to make the award in the best interest of the Duneland School Corporation. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled bid opening date. All bidders must comply with all Board of School Trustees local policies as outlined in the bidding documents.
