Each Bidder shall possess at the time this Contract is awarded a Class A, B, and/or C-39 Contractor's License, current and legally issued by the Contractor's State License Board, pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 3300. The successful bidder must maintain the license in good standing throughout the duration of this Contract. This is a prevailing wage job. The District has obtained from the Department of Industrial Relations the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work for the Merced County area for each trade, craft, classification, or type of work needed to execute the contract LIQUIDATED DAMAGES. The agreed upon liquidated damages payable to the District pursuant to Section 7 of the General Terms and Conditions in the event that the Work is not completed within the Contract Time shall be Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each calendar day that the completion of the Project is so delayed beyond the expiration of the Contract Time. Plans, Job Manuals and Specifications are available from Arc/Ford Graphics for a fee. All fees are payable directly to Arc/Ford Graphics. Verification of attendance to the bidders conference and job walk is required for pick up of all plans and specifications.
