The Rainbow District School Board is seeking bid quotations for the provision of monthly elevator inspections and maintenance, emergency call-in service and emergency telephone monitoring in accordance with the scope of work and the terms and conditions below. The objective of this tender is to ensure that all lift devices remain in proper operating condition in accordance with all federal and provincial operating standards and all other regulatory ordinances. The term of the Contract will be for a period of approximately three (3) years, beginning May 1, 2022 and ending April 30, 2025. Unless otherwise specified, the term of any awarded Contract shall commence on the date of award and shall continue until the completion of work unless terminated, canceled or extended as otherwise provided herein. Subject to satisfactory service, price terms and conditions, in the sole opinion of the Board representative, this Contract may be extended for two (2) additional one-year periods. Extensions are to be mutually acceptable and subject to a continued requirement by the Board and budget approval. Under no circumstances will this contract automatically renew on completion.
