SUMMARY OF WORK The Department of Military Affairs is seeking bids for the repair of overhead crane and hoist at its facility located at FORT BELVOIR, FMS 13 6163 GOETHAIS ROAD FORT BELVOIR, VA 220 **As of March 8,2022. The project has been awarded to Tide water testing services Inc. amounting 22,560.80 ** SCOPE OF WORK A. Provide equipment, labor, tools and parts to complete the replacement and repair of the 5 ton electric chain hoist with motorized trolley listed in Appendix A or Agency Approved Equivalent - Per the specifications B. Provide documentation of replacement and repair complete, load testing, and certification with each replaced and repair item listed to meet the OSHA requirements. C. All of the work listed in Appendix A shall be completed as one single package work PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS A. The contractor shall follow all the safety regulations of the federal, state and local jurisdictions while performing the work. Use of proper PPEs and following lock out tag out procedures shall be contractor's responsibilities B. The repair work shall be complete within 60 (sixty) calendar days of issuance of the purchase order. C. The repair work shall meet OSHA requirements. D. All parts replaced for the repair shall be new and OEM (original equipment manufacturer) parts. E. The contractor shall repair all the damages and blemishes caused by their work, tools or equipment, to match the existing conditions. F. The bidders shall warranty the parts and workmanship for one year from the date of installation. G. Contractor shall be an established firm, regularly engaged in service, installation, testing and inspections of overhead cranes and hoists. PRICING A. Bid shall include all charges that may be imposed in fulfilling the Technical Specifications in this solicitation. Pricing is to include all shipping and handling. B. The Department of Military Affairs is exempt from state and federal taxes, please see General Conditions for details. C. When submitting pricing, please submit in eVA and include a copy of the pricing schedule included in the Technical Specifications. D.
