The Maryland Environmental Service is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified Contractors to provide all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials to furnish and install energy efficient LED lighting to replace the existing lighting systems of the Facility buildings or structures including screening/bagging pavilion as well as the maintenance shop located at the Montgomery County Yard Trim Composting Facility is located at 21210 Martinsburg Road, in Dickerson, Montgomery County, Maryland 20842. SBR-Small Business Reserve Designation Yes- $50-$500,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. SCOPE OF WORK: MES desires a qualified Contractor to provide all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials to furnish and install energy efficient LED lighting to replace the existing lighting systems of the Facility buildings or structures including screening/bagging pavilion as well as the maintenance shop. A. LED Lighting at Pavilion: 1. Furnish and install the materials specified below or approved equal. 2. Replace (48) 400W HPS high-bay fixtures under the Pavilion with (48) Lithonia Lighting CPHB 60000LM SEF GCL WD HVOLT G210 40K 80CRI DWH. 3. Replace (20) 150W HPS flood light fixtures on the perimeter of the Pavilion with (20) Lithonia Lighting TWH LED ALO 40K T3M 480 DDBXD. 4. Contractor's price shall include rental of lift for completion of the Work. 5. Removed fixtures and associated construction debris shall be hauled away and properly disposed by the Contractor. 6. OSHA compliance is the Contractor's responsibility B. LED Lighting at Maintenance Shop: 1. Furnish and install the materials specified below or approved equal. 2. Replace (18) 150W HPS high-bay fixtures with (18) MET UHB-12-UNV-L840- CD-U UHB LED high-bay's 13436 Lumens and 99 watts. 3. Replace (4) exit/EBU combination fixtures with (4) Surelite APCH7R LED combination white self-powered exit/emergency LED. 4. Replace (5) 175W HPS wall packs with (5) Lumark XTOR6B LED 58W 5000K wall pack BZ. 5. Replace (4) EBU with (4) Surelite APEL LED 2-head white emergency light. 6. Replace (4) 2-lamp, 8' strip fixtures with (4) Sloan LED SL-8FT-80L-4K, 8FT LED. 7. Replace (8) 2-lamp, 4' strip fixtures with (8) Sloan LED SL-4FT-46L-4K, 4FT LED strip fixtures. 8. Removed fixtures and associated construction debris shall be hauled away and properly disposed by the Contractor. 9. OSHA compliance is the Contractor's responsibility. C. Submittals: The Contractor shall submit a materials list and catalog cut sheets of all replacement lighting items to MES for approval within seven (7) calendar days of Notice to Proceed.
