The City of Coffeyville is accepting bids for mowing for the April 2022 through October 2025 growing season. Areas to be mowed are located within the Coffeyville Municipal Airport owned by the City of Coffeyville. Bids must be submitted on the required Bid Form. Bids will be based on mowing of 43.2 acres, as shown on a map entitled City of Coffeyville Airport Mowing as prepared 02/1/22, finish mowing to less than 4 inches in height with the contractor using his/her own equipment for finished mowing areas and 6 to 8 inch heights for brush hog areas. Brush hog areas should not be permitted to get above 12 inches in height at any time. Bids should be based on a per time mowed basis for each area indicated on the map. A separate bid 1s requested on a per time mowed basis for all areas combined, if awarded together. The contractor(s) to whom the work is awarded will be required to furnish | contractors public liability insurance with minimum limits of $1,000,000. In addition, any employing contractor will be required to carry workmans compensation insurance subject to the Citys approval. The City of Coffeyville reserves the right to waive any irregularities or minor defects in bids and to reject any or all bids and to readvertise and rebid and/or negotiate with any or all bidders. Bids should be on a per-time mowed basis for each area and for all areas combined if awarded together. The per time mowing frequency shall be determined by Jarrod Powers, Director of Airport Services. All acreage listed are estimates, actual acreage may vary slightly. The contractor to whom the work is awarded must gather and properly dispose of all trash prior to mowing. The areas must be mowed to less than 4 inches in height in the fine mowed areas, and 6 to 8 inch heights for brush hog areas. At no time should the brush hog area be allowed more than 12 inches high. All grass and/or weeds not cut with a mower must be trimmed with appropriate commercial equipment.
