The Town Board reserves the unrestricted right to accept or reject any and all bids or to waive informalities therein. All phases of this project are eligible for financing through the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation (NYSEFC). Proposers should carefully review the "NY State Revolving Fund Bid Packet for Construction Contracts" which is included as part of the contract documents. Among other requirements, the successful Firm shall utilize Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and/or Women's Business Enterprises (WBE) in the performance of the work according to the goals specified in the documents. The Town Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities in and to accept such bids which, in its opinion, are in the best interests of the Town. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 (sixty) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Project consists of the replacement/rehabilitation of four sewage pump stations to remain in compliance with regulatory agencies and their standards. 1. Project Locations: a. Mobilization phase: Prepare site and equipment to commence work. Work of this phase shall commence within 30 days after the Notice to Proceed. The installation of the bypass pumping system shall be accomplished before any demolition and construction work. b. Demolition phase including but not limited to: Remove and dispose of piping and mechanical equipment including pumps and valves as shown in the Contract Drawings. c. Construction phase including but not limited to: Construct new sewage pump station to replace the existing sewage pump station as shown in the Contract Drawings: 1) Clearing of the site to accomodate new work. 2) Construction and installation of reinforced concrete pad for fan. 3) Installation of new valve vault. 4) Isolation of existing wet well. 5) Installation of two submersible pumps and associated components. 6) Installation of portable generator switch and transfer switch. 7) Installation of electrical work. 8) Installation of HVAC work. 9) Installation of site piping. 10) Installation of new force main to connect to existing. 11) Install new RPZ service and yard hydrant. 12) Installation of access stairs. 13) Site restoration. 2.
