Site work and renovation of an educational facility in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Completed plans call civil work for an educational facility.
The Work consists of the addition of concrete footings, steel girders and columns to reinforce existing steel bar joists and provide new finishes where noted. The Project shall be Substantially Complete not later than June 17, 2022 The Project shall be Finally Complete and invoiced prior to July 1, 2022 Architect/Owner will schedule and administer pre-construction meetings, periodic progress meetings and specially called meetings throughout the progress of the Work. Architect/Owner will: 1. Preside at meetings. 2. Record the minutes, including all significant proceedings and decisions. 3. Distribute electronic copies of minutes after each meeting and furnish copies via e-mail to all meeting attendees. B. Representatives of Contractor, Subcontractors and suppliers attending the meeting shall be qualified and authorized to act on behalf of the entity each represents. C. Architect will attend meetings to ascertain that Work is being expedited consistent with Contract Documents and the construction schedules. Consulting Engineers will attend meetings when so directed by the Architect TOTAL BUILDING AREA 10,880 SF
