Renovation of a military facility in Titusville, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
Scope of Work: Provide all labor and materials to remove old 2MVA medium voltage transformer andassociated 480VACswitchgear. Install a new 1200A, 5KV rate switch that will be used to isolate load bankconnections. Install thermostat/ heaters in new 5KV rated switch and terminationbox. Install thermostat/heaters in generator VCB between line and loadconnections. Install barrier in rear compartment of VCB between line and loadconnections. Install bus connections with supports and insulators in rear VCB compartment. Re-land existing 5KV load bank and generator output cables to bus bar in the rear of the GeneratorVCB. Perform insulation/NETA testing on all new equipment and existing. A submittal with the results stating the level of pass or fail shall be submitted and reviewed as part of the construction documentation beforecloseout. ProvideE1016480V/400ampCam-Lokterminationpanelsectionforquicktie-inof480VACloadbank. Install new space heater circuit in 480VACswitchgear. As of April 25, 2022, this project as not yet been awarded. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released.
