The City of South Jordan is seeking a qualified Contractor to provide weed control services on city properties estimated at 159 acres in total. (See Exhibit A - Properties for detailed list of properties and acreage). Spring applications are estimated to take place February-April and Fall applications to take place September-October. The first application of the contract should take place between March 14 and April 15, 2022. Contract shall be for one year with the option to renew, at the City's discretion, at the end of the year for up to three years. The City is wanting three Weed Control Applications per year for City Parks, Facilities and Properties - one in Spring, one in the Fall and one as requested. Treatments must be spray only, no granules, and must use TruPower 3 or equivalent. The City does not provide Bidders lists or Planholders lists. The City reserves the right to award this bid in full or in part. All inquiries and responses must be made online via SciQuest. No paper bids will be accepted. *The City reserves the right to reject any Bid if the City believes that it would not be in the best interest of the project or the City. Without limitation, such rejection may be because the Bid is not responsive, or the Bidder is unqualified or of doubtful ability or the Bid or Bidder fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by the City, as solely determined by City.
