South Jordan City is requesting proposals from landscaping contractors who can supply and plant trees in park strips and parks throughout the City. The selected Contractor will have the ability to furnish all trees and provide the labor, expertise, materials, equipment, disposal, and other incidentals necessary to provide a complete tree planting program. The Contractor will provide an inventory list of the tree species they have in stock along with size of the trees and the price for each tree species that includes the cost of planting the tree. Costs shall include all materials, labor, equipment, rental costs, supplies, shipping, delivery, insurance, and all other costs required to needed to complete the Scope of Work. The cost sheet will allow the city to choose the best trees that fit within the budget. The Contractor must have an understanding of regulatory agency requirements and be able to Perform all work in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, provide for all inspections and permits required by federal, state, or local authorities in furnishing, transporting, and installing agricultural chemicals, and perform planting in accordance with ANSI and ISA tree care industry standards.
