This Request for Information (RFI) is being issued to assist the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Office of Asset and Facilities Management (OAFM) to locate contractors with the capability to perform the Operations and Maintenance requirements of the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) entitled, "Operations and Maintenance - Krome Service Processing Center." Scope of Work The Contractor shall provide management, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and supplies and shall be responsible for the efficient, effective, economical, and satisfactory operation, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repair of equipment and systems, including vertical transportation, pest control, solid waste removal and recycling program, air quality control permits, hazardous and medical waste removal, telephone communications/programming, surveillance systems, welding, water testing, and all related services located within the property line of the following locations: The Krome SPC is located at 18201 SW 12th Street, Miami, FL 33194 and is a government owned and operated detention facility. The facility is a comparable size to a community college campus and occupied by federal government employees and detainees. Krome SPC is operated on twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week, 365 days a year basis. There are seventeen (17) building assets totaling (132,947) gross square feet (GSF) and a total of 112 acres, of which 49 acres are improved for mowing, 10 acres unimproved for mowing, total grounds to be policed (maintained), and 2 acres of flower beds, and trees trimmed when needed. A Facility Description is provided in Exhibit E and will be required to be updated after Award. To all GSA Schedule 561210FAC 8(a) Small Business concerns under the Complete Facilities Maintenance and Repair Multiple Award Schedule This Request for Information (RFI) is being issued to assist the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Office of Asset and Facilities Management (OAFM) to locate contractors with the capability to perform the Operations and Maintenance requirements of the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) entitled, "Operations and Maintenance - Krome Service Processing Center." DHS/ICE requests information regarding your company's ability to meet the requirements of the draft PWS and your company's level of interest in a potential Request for Quote (RFQ). The incumbent is Native Energy (HSCEMR-17-F-00041), this site is part of a task order which is being segmented. If your company believes that it has the capabilities to meet the requirements of the draft PWS and is interested in such a requirement, please respond no later than Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 15:00 pm EST. Please limit your total response to this RFI to 5 pages, to include any title pages, index, table of contents, graphs or charts. This RFI does not commit the Government to a contract/order for any supply or service whatsoever. Furthermore, the Government is not at this time seeking quotes and will not accept unsolicited quotes. Responders are advised that the Government will not reimburse for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested parties' expense. The information requested is for the purpose of market research ONLY in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. The information provided in the RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned. Unless advised or indicated on the responses to this RFI, all information furnished will be considered non-proprietary.
