Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Elmhurst, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The improvements consist of removing and resurfacing asphalt pavement for the entire parking lot. The contract will include all work necessary to complete the removal of existing pavement and installation of the proposed pavement. Additional work items will include but not limited to curb and gutter removal and installation, sidewalk removal and installation, pavement marking, pipe underdrain installation, and all restoration to return the area to its original condition. This is a State of Illinois/DuPage County prevailing wage project. Contractors and subcontractors performing work on this project are solely responsible for determining the applicable prevailing wage rates at the time of written proposal submissions and performance of the work.
