PURPOSE The Virginia Department of Health Professions (DHP) is seeking the procurement, delivery and installation of various Open Plan cubicle parts (Herman-Miller refurbished) to reconfigure work area for the Board of Counseling according to the project drawings and specifications. SCOPE OF WORK/DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS (SPECIFICATIONS) In general the work shall consist of supplying and installing all cubicle parts for the Board of Counseling cubicle offices rearranging the existing ones in the dimensions and configurations shown on the drawings and specifications list spreadsheet attached. The contractor shall furnish labor, materials, assemble & setup, equipment and incidentals to provide the goods and services necessary to complete all work described herein. No delivery of materials is permitted until the day of installation. Installation is to be performed according to the 3rd Floor Scope of Work Drawing and legends attached and dates mutually acceptable to DHP and Contractor within 30 calendar days of award. All packaging, disposables and set-up debris shall be removed from the premises by Contractor daily. Other elements of the required Work are as follow: Bid Find/Order Quantity and Description as shown. Value engineering will be discussed with Dealer awarded project before placing the orders. Provide separate installation and labor quotes for both during work hours. Include estimate of length of time for delivery and install. The Contractor awarded this project will need to verify/confirm inventory in DHP storage and reduce parts to be ordered, thereby reducing the overall cost of the projects. The Contractor will need to return any parts not reused to DHP storage. The Contractor will bid the "Order Qty" column on the Attachment A specifications sheet. The agency shall be responsible and provide their own electrician, to ensure electricity is available to power the reconfiguration and to make final connection from the cubicle power feeds to the building electrical system. The agency shall provide all data drops and make final connection to its own equipment. The Contractor shall feed the data drops within the cubicles. The agency shall be responsible and provide their own Data Cabling Contractor to install any new data lines from the data closets to the newly reconfigure cubicle. Existing Seating, File pedestals and Lateral files shown on the drawings are not to be ordered.
