For this call for tenders, the Societe des traversiers du Quebec (STQ) is requesting bids for the performance of professional engineering services for the performance of regular inspections of its land infrastructures, for the civil engineering component. To do this, the STQ wishes to enter into a contract with a service provider, who will have to carry out activities related to the inspections. All in accordance with the requirements set out in the tender documents. The estimated amount of the contract $1,000,000 for 5 years.

INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT
The following intergovernmental agreements apply to this call for tenders: Quebec-Ontario Agreement (ACCQO) / Quebec-New Brunswick Agreement (AQNB) / Quebec-New York Agreement (AQNY) / Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement between Canada and the European Union (CETA) / Canadian Free Trade Agreement (ALEC).

DURATION OF THE CONTRACT
The contract will enter into force on the date of signature in 2022 and end on this same date one (1) year later (2023), with the possibility of renewal for four (4) additional and successive periods of twelve (12) months each. , under the same terms and conditions (total duration of the contract of five (5) years, expiring in 2027).

For the first year of the mandate, the service provider must draw up inspection sheets. For each first regular inspection on a site, the service provider must carry out the inventory, nomenclature and numbering of the elements to be inspected (including the location of the elements on the overall plans as described above in this document). In the period from June 15 to August 1 , regular inspections must be carried out as follows: Second year of the mandate (2023): Traverse Cap-aux-Meules - Entry Island
Third year of term (2024): Port Menier (Anticosti Island)
Fourth year of mandate (2025): Traverse Chevery - Harrington Harbor
Fifth year of the mandate (2026): Traverse Saint Augustin - Pakuashipi
Regular inspection reports must be delivered a maximum of two (2) weeks after the end of the inspection. One report per site is required. SUBMISSION GUARANTEE
No bid security is required for this call for tenders. The Societe des traversiers du Quebec does not undertake to accept any of the tenders presented to it.
