The successful bidder will provide concrete sidewalk paving, sidewalkramp construction, storm sewer installation and asphalt patching forvarious streets within Maryville, TN. No bids will be received or accepted after the above specified time forthe opening of Bids. Bids submitted after the designated hour will bedeemed invalid and rejected. BIDS shall be accompanied by a cashier's or bank check or BID Guarantee bond in the amount of no less than five percent (5%) of the BIDmade payable to City of Maryville, OWNER, and subject to the conditions provided in the INSTRUCTION FOR BIDDERS. Bidders shouldsubmit with their bid a Drug-Free Workplace Affidavit of Prime Bidderas required by TCA Section 50-9-113. A Title VI Disclosure shouldalso be included with the bid to assist with the City of Maryville's compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The successful bidder will be required to furnish an acceptable Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent(100%) of the contract price, each bond. The project herein described as the base bid is to be completed withinforty-five (45) calendar days after the date when the Contract Timecommences to run. Please see the Technical Specifications for furtherscheduling requirements. Liquidated damages for delay of completionof contract will be in accordance with the Agreement (Contract). All bidders must be able to demonstrate before the award of the contract that the proposer (and subcontractors if applicable) has all appropriate licenses and certifications required in the State of Tennesseeto perform the Services. This project is funded by the City of Maryville. The Contractor shall comply with all State, Federal, and Local lawsand/or regulations. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any irregularities or reject any or all bids.
