As of 04/22/2022 This project has been awarded to Schneider Excavating for Excavation in the amount of $311,905 and Landworks, Inc for Landscaping in the amount of $39,405 for a total of $351,310. Bids will be publicly opened and read immediately following. Bids must be submitted in duplicate in a sealed envelope and labeled "2022 STEAM Additions and Interior Renovations at Spencer Loomis Elementary School and Middle School North and Isaac Fox Elementary School and Middle School South for Lake Zurich Community Unit School District 95 - Bid Release 2", the Date and Time of the Bid Opening, the Contractor's Name and Address, and their Trade Package. All Contractors shall use the bid day label provided with their Bid Form. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 10% of the bid is to accompany the bid form. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the bid amount, with sureties approved by the owner, and Certificate of Insurance within ten (10) days of the award of the contract. The successful bidder is required to pay the Prevailing Wage for work under this Contract and shall submit certified payroll records in compliance with the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12).
