Saving Project...

Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Petersburg, Alaska. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.

The project generally consists of the install a. new 120"0 aluminum culvert (.210 l.f.) to replace existing 60"0 steel culvert that has failed. The work will be done m a fish stream documented by Alaska Department of Fish & Game. There will be required construction timing windows and. also a stream bypass system for work in the stream bed. Depth of fill to bottom of the new culvert is approximately 40 feet. The existing excavated material will be stored in the east yard of the project. This excavated material will be reused in the fill, minus any unsuitable material. The estimated construction cost for the base bid is between $500,000 & $1,000,000. All Work must, be completed by September 15, 2022 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. He is located, at the Petersburg Public Works Office, located at 303 South Second Street, Petersburg, Alaska. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or certified check made payable to the Petersburg Borough in the amount of five percent of the total bid price. The Petersburg Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid, and to make award to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as it may best serve the interest of the Borough
