Submission sent electronically accepted: No he Company owns and manages a historical and heritage building stock at Place-Royale in Quebec City. As such, the Company has grounds maintenance and miscellaneous work performed at an hourly rate. As part of this call for tenders, the Company wishes to retain the services of a contractor to provide the services listed in points 2.2 and 2.3 of the description of requirements. Clauses on the eligibility conditions of bidders: Only contractors who can demonstrate their experience in projects of the same nature and who hold the license required under the Building Act (RSQ, cB-1.1) and who have their establishment in Quebec are authorized to bid. or when an intergovernmental agreement is applicable in a province or territory covered by this agreement. The failure of a tenderer to respect one or the other of the conditions described below renders him ineligible: Contractors with an establishment in Quebec must retain, when submitting their bid, a certificate issued by the Quebec Revenue Agency during the 90 days preceding the deadline for receipt of bids. Contractors must also be advised that subcontractors must hold a certificate issued by the Quebec Revenue Agency when this contract is directly related to the contract covered by this call for tenders. Entrepreneurs who do not have an establishment in Quebec where they carry out their activities on a permanent basis, clearly identified with their name and accessible during normal business hours, must submit, with their bid, the "Absence d'establishment au Québec" form. duly completed and signed by an authorized person. The contractor must not be registered in the register of enterprises ineligible for public contracts (RENA) or, if registered, his period of ineligibility for public contracts must have ended. Contractors must also be advised of the extension of this condition to first-level subcontractors with whom, if applicable, a contract directly related to the contract covered by this call for tenders would be signed and whose value would be equal to or greater than $25,000. Details in this regard are provided in the instructions to tenderers. Contractors are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both for their solvency and for the content of their tender and their behavior. They must inform them of the conditions they intend to prescribe, in particular those imposed on the contractual documents. Finally, they must ensure that they hold the required permits and licenses. Obtaining tender documents: Full tender documents are available through the SEAO system at a price set by SEAO. The submission and related documents must be written in French. Bid guarantee: To be valid, all tenders must be accompanied by a tender guarantee, issued in favor of SODEC. This security must be in the form of either a certified cheque, money order, draft or irrevocable letter of guarantee issued by a bank, credit union or trust company or bonds, bonds payable to bearer issued or guaranteed by the Government of Quebec, or when an intergovernmental agreement is applicable, by the government of a province or territory covered by this agreement and whose maturity not exceed five (5) years, in the amount of $5,000 or either a bond in the amount of $10,000 issued by a company holding an insurer's license in Canada, valid for a period of forty-five ( 45) days from the date of opening of tenders.
