Marlboro County is currently accepting RFP for the Building Asbestos Abatement & Demolition Services of Plant 2 at the Delta Mill Site at 4301 Brickyard Rd in Wallace, SC 29596. Marlboro County Government is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) soliciting proposals from qualified firms to complete the asbestos abatement and the demolition of an abandoned textile plant referred to as the Delta Mill Plant #2 site. Asbestos assessment has been completed to identify the Asbestos-Containing Materials (ACMs) present at the Delta Mill Plant #2. A copy of the asbestos assessment report [GEL Engineering, LLC (GEL) revised report dated September 21, 2021] is attached to and is/becomes a part of this RFP. Asbestos abatement will be part of the demolition services.
