The City of Jacksonville is soliciting Proposal(s) for the Rehabilitation of four (4) 352 sq. ft. filters (17'-6"x20'-0") located at the City of Jacksonville, TX Water Production Plant. The company chosen will be required to provide all labor and materials needed to complete the process. Submissions should include one (1) original, three (3) copies, one (1) electronic copy of the proposal and should be returned in a sealed envelope bearing the following information on the outside of the submittal envelope: the name and address of the respondent, as well as "City of Jacksonville RFP 2023-609-06; Water Filter Rehab." Contractor is responsible for removing existing media, using Contractor provided equipment. Material is to be placed in a dumpster provided by the contractor for removal by the contractor. 2. Pressure wash each filter. 3. Painting of the interior of each filter, using NSF-approved TNEMEC paint. 4. Cleaning of Wheeler/Leopold underdrains as required. 5. Cleaning underdrain holes. 6. Remove existing and replace with new sixteen (16) surface wash arms, and change all Leopold rubber seals for disposal by the city. 7. Installing and checking surface wash functionality meeting AWWA design criteria. 8. Replace new sixteen (16) brass swivel joint surface agitators, and Leopold rubber seals, for equal flow distribution. 9.
