The City of La Mirada has various street and building projects planned or out to bid. The projects may be funded by City general funds, state or federal funds. The services requested include various civil engineering services, construction management, traffic engineering, construction inspection, geotechnical engineering, survey services, landscape architecture, facility improvements, design and inspection, grant administration, and labor compliance. The City intends to contract with multiple firms on individual projects or portions of projects based on project requirements and firm capabilities. The City of La Mirada is soliciting submittals of proposals from qualified firms for on-call consulting services for civil engineering, construction management, traffic engineering, construction inspection, geotechnical engineering, survey services, landscape architecture, facility improvements, design and inspection, grant administration, and labor compliance for various projects within the City of La Mirada. It is the City's intent to establish a team structure of consultant firms, including but not limited to, each of the specialty areas. The term of the on-call contract shall be five years. Selected firms may be invited to participate in submission of proposals for various projects over the five year period. Proposals may be submitted for all or part of the services requested. The development of design teams through the use of multiple sub-consultants to meet all of the specialty areas is not desired. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
