Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Palatine, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
Successful bidder must comply with all applicable laws and regulations per- taining to equal employment and payment of prevailing wages. Electronic versions of plans and specifications are avail- able online or jlu- dolph@palatineparks.org. The Palatine Park District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and also reserves the right to accept only portions of a proposal and reject the remainder. The Work to be performed at Cutting Hall under this Contract shall be commenced August 8, 2022 and, subject to authorized adjustments, substantial Completion shall be achieved not later than August 12, 2022 The Work to be performed at Falcon Recreation Center under this Contract shall be commenced August 15, 2022 and, subject to authorized adjustments, substantial Completion shall be achieved not later than August 19, 2022. Extent of work is indicated on plans. All workmanship will be of the highest professional standards and craftsmanship. Contractor will furnish all materials and labor for removal and disposal of existing floor surface, floor preparation for new surface and installation of proposed flooring products. Contractor is responsible for moving any equipment and placing same back into position once the flooring has been laid in any given area. The Palatine Park District has provided approximate square footage. Contractor is responsible for field verification of all measurements on site and determination of quantities necessary to complete the work as specified.
