CR Number: 2083719 Location: Farmington Road over Ganargua Creek (BIN 3314490), Town of Macedon, Wayne County The work to be performed consists principally of the furnishing of all labor and materials for the Rehabilitation of Farmington Road Bridge over Ganargua Creek in the Town of Macedon, including complete replacement of South abutment, repair of North wingwalls, new wearing surface with waterproofing membrane, and new bridge rails. Traffic will be maintained by an off-site detour route. The foregoing is a general outline of work only and shall not be construed as a complete description of the work to be performed under this contract. The anticipated award date for this contract is April 19, 2022. Contract Term: All proposed construction shall be substantially completed and Farmington Road re-opened to traffic by October 14, 2022. Contract completion date is November 11, 2022. The Proposed DBE Commitment form must also be included with the bid. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid. Such Bid Security shall be submitted in the form of a Bid Bond (no certified checks made payable to the Owner). The submission shall be made with the understanding that the Bid Security shall guarantee that the Bidder will not withdraw his Bid for a period of forty-five (45) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of Bids: and that if his Bid is accepted will enter into a formal contract with the Owner in accordance with the Form of Agreement; and that the required Performance and Payment Bond will be given; and that in the event of the withdrawal of said Bid within the said period or the failure to enter said Contract and give said bonds within ten (10) days after he has received notice of acceptance of his Bid, the Bidder shall be liable to the Owner for the full amount of the Bid Guarantee as liquidated damages to the Owner as a result of default of the Bidder.
