Project awarded to Carolina Siteworks, Inc. in the amount of $708,175.60. The Project consists of constructing 3,625 LF of 6-inch, 320 LF of 12-inch potable water line, and 230 LF of 45”x29” elliptical RCP gravity storm water pipe and associated structures Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bidders are hereby notified that they must be properly licensed as required by Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes. All bids must be accompanied by a 5% bid bond and shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Compliance with the Town of Harrisburg’s Guidance for Recruitment and Selection of Minority Businesses will be required on this contract. Bidders shall submit with their bids affidavits of “Good Faith Efforts” in the recruitment of minority businesses. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids and any portion of any bid they deem necessary for the best interest of the Town, to accept any item or group of items unless qualified by the bidder, to acquire additional quantities at prices quoted on the bid form.
