Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Stratford, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
This project consists of replacement of watermain along Avon Street from North Street to Dryden Avenue and on Dryden Avenue from Avon Street to Byron Street using trenched construction including 930 LF of 6" watermain; 4 hydrants; 3 - 4" gate valves; 1 - 6" gate valve; 1 - 4", 3 - 6" and 1 - 12" tapping valve assemblies; 290 LF of trenched 1" service and 9 service connections; 270 LF of remove and replace curb; 740 SY of full depth pavement patches, 4"; and including other miscellaneous items to complete the work. Pay liquidated damages for noncompliance with said completion provisions in the amount of Eight Hundred Dollars ($800.00) after the substantial completion date and Four Hundred Dollars ($400.00) after the final completion date for each calendar day the work remains incomplete
