Site work and paving for a civil project in Stratford, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; for paving for a road / highway; and road / highway.
This project consists of replacement of watermain along W Tennyson Avenue from Belleville Road west 450 feet using trenched construction including 430 LF of 6" watermain, 1 hydrant, 1 – 6" gate valve, 115 LF of trenched 1"service, 20 LF of 2" service, and 5 service connections; 40 T of roadway aggregate and 20 T of granular driveway; and including other miscellaneous items to complete the work. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security, as defined in Iowa Code Section 26.8, as security that the successful bidder will enter into a contract for the work bid upon. The bidder's security shall be in an amount equal to 5 percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. The bid shall contain no condition except as provided in the specifications.
