As of April 26, 2022, project is cancelled. They will change the project. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, and supervision of labors necessary to complete the work. This project includes the construction of a new pedestrian bridge on the north side of Fuller Road located just east of Scott Street over a tributary to the east branch of the Black River. Work includes the installation of a new concrete pedestrian bridge including sidewalks and other pertinent items; all as shown on construction plans and specifications prepared by K. E. McCartney and Associates and/or the Office of the Elyria City Engineer. This cost does not include shipping of the original bid documents but does include the cost for shipping of any addenda. The bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty. The bid guaranty must meet all requirements of Section 153.54 of the ORC and the Instructions to Bidders. The contractor will have until September 1, 2022 to complete the work. The contractor and any subcontractor must comply with the prevailing wage rate requirements on public improvements in Lorain County and City of Elyria, Ohio, as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division (614) 644-2239 www.ohio.gov/ laws. All work shall be carried out in compliance with all federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations that apply to the work. All bidders must comply with the provisions of Chapter 167 of the Elyria Codified Ordinances as amended.
