$500,001 - $1,000,000 Description: RPZ Backflow Prevention Devices Performance Period: 365 Continuous Calendar Days Liquidated Damages: One Thousand ($1,000)) Dollars per Continuous Calendar Day LIMITED SOLICITATION Only those bidders who have been specifically invited by the SCA, and are currently an active participant in the Mentor Program, are eligible to submit a bid and be awarded a contract under the referenced solicitation. Additionally, to be eligible for an award of the referenced work, the low responsive bidder must be able to demonstrate to the satisfaction of the SCA during the bid evaluation period, that all elements of the project necessary for successful completion of the project are included in its bid . INSURANCE See specific Contractor-furnished insurance requirements and SCA-furnished Insurance Coverage, the Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP). The OCIP Manual is available at the following link BID BREAKDOWN: Upon request, the apparent low bidder for this project will be required to submit to the SCA/Construction Manager its bid breakdown using a Project Specific Template, within seventy-two (72) hours of the bid opening or when requested. PHASING EXHIBIT Attached, as Appendix B to the Construction Contract is the Phasing Exhibit for this Project. LUMP SUM BID Bidders shall submit a LUMP SUM BID AMOUNT in the form attached as Appendix A to the Construction Contract to complete the project within the "Performance Period" after normal school hours under the conditions specified in the Contract Documents (as defined in the SCAs General Conditions dated July 1, 2021) inclusive of the Phasing Exhibit. In connection with its Bid, the Contractor provided an appropriate bid bond/certified check, in the amount of five (5%) percent of its Bid Amount. Contractor shall make prompt payment to the HVAC, Plumbing and Gas Fitting, and Electrical Subcontractors. Within seven (7) calendar days of the receipt of any payment from the SCA, the Contractor shall pay to each such Subcontractor that portion of the proceeds of such payment representing the value of the Work performed by each such Subcontractor, based upon the actual value of the Subcontract which has been approved and paid for by the SCA, less an amount necessary to satisfy any claims, liens, or judgments against such Subcontractor, which have not been suitably discharged and less any amount retained by the Contractor as provided herein. The Subcontract may provide that the Contractor may retain not more than five (5%) percent of each payment to such Subcontractor, or not more than ten (10%) percent of each such payment, if prior to entering into the Subcontract, such Subcontractor is unable or unwilling to provide, at the request of the Contractor, a construction performance bond and a labor and material payment bond, both in the amount of the Subcontract. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
