Estimated budget is between $400,000 - 500,000 Description of Work: This work will include the excavation and removal of existing turf areas, adjust/ reconstruct existing storm structure, install new storm structures and piping, HMA pavement removal/installation of 3" HMA pavement over existing reshaped base course, installation of 3" HMA pavement over proposed 12" base course for expanded court area and path, remove existing 10' chain link fence and gates, install new 10' chain link fencing and gates, remove existing net posts and footings, install new net posts/footings/nets, install all-weather rubber surface seal coating on court area, striping of the courts including both regulation tennis and pickleball, supply and install new bleachers, install river rock, install segmental block retaining wall, restoration of all disturbed areas. Bid Alternate 1 for planning screening trees, Bid Alternate 2 for tennis court lighting (courts 1-4) and Bid Alternate 3 for tennis court lighting (courts 5-8). Not less than the prevailing rate of wages as determined by the Department of Labor or determined by the court upon review shall be paid to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract. The Hononegah Community High School District 207 is exempt from Illinois state, municipal, or county Retailers Occupation Tax, Service Occupation Tax, and Service Use Tax as described in Illinois Compiled Statute Chapter 35 Bid prices shall not include the cost of such taxes. All bids must be accompanied by a Bidders bond, certified check, bank cashiers check, or bank draft payable to the Hononegah Community High School District 207 for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid as provided in the Bidder instructions. Rejection of Bids: The Hononegah Community High School District 207 reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive technicalities. Unless the Bids are rejected for good cause, award of the contract shall be made to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The work shall be to the point of Final Completion on or before August 5th, 2022. Theprojected start date is May 31st, 2022.
