All proposals must remain valid for a period of ninety (90) days or until the MCSB approves the contract. The School Board will automatically reject the response of any person or affiliate who appears on the convicted vendor list prepared by the Department of General Services, State of Florida, under Section 287.133(3) (d), F.S. (1997). Recommendation to the District School Board of Monroe County will be based upon a proposal(s) that represent the best interest of the District and award of the contract will be deemed by the board to be in the best interest of Monroe County. a. All work schedules must be coordinated through the Maintenance Department to prevent interruption of
activities.
b. All materials used outside need to be inherently resistant to salt water corrosion. All fasteners and
hardware used outside shall be stainless steel or hot dipped galvanized.
c. The existing roof structure must be protected from damage during any work being performed in the
work area
d. Temporary interior partitions/barriers, doors, will be required to prevent noise, dust, and dirt from
entering other portions of the facility. Temporary barriers above the ceilings may also be required to
prevent to prevent dust, noise and dirt entering the facility.
e. All paint used shall be equal to Sherwin Williams. Paint to match existing.
f. Replace all flooring, wall materials and ceiling materials with new to match existing as required to
perform repair work.
g. If specific products are requested within the bid requirement, any substitutes must be submitted to the
owner for approval prior to purchasing and use.
