Renovation of a mixed-use development in Sumter, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility; and office development.
File No. : 68-979904 Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in an amount not less than five (5%) of the base bid. A surety or performance bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price is required. Certificates of Insurance will be required of the low bidder for the coverage listed in the Specifications. No bidder may withdraw his bid or bids for a period of thirty (30) days after the actual date of bid opening. Proposals must be submitted on forms furnished by the Architect. These forms along with other contract documents may be obtained by bidders from the office of RS Bell Architects, LLC, 134 N. Main St., Sumter, South Carolina. Only qualified General Contractors that notify the Architect of their intent to bid by March 4, 2022 will be permitted to bid the project. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in the process and to reject any and all bids and to award the contract to other than the lowest bidder if deemed in the best interest of the project.
