Per the owner, as of March 28, 2022, these are to be pre-approved plans for individual property owners to use to streamline the permitting process for accessory dwelling units. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. ................ Online Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline 02/23/2022 4:00 PM (PST) The Selected Firm shall supply the City with building plans for the ADU types listed below: Unit Type Square Feet New Construction ADU Studio 400-600 sf New Detached ADU (1-Bedroom, 1-Bath) 600-800 sf New Detached ADU (2-Bedroom, 11/2 -2 Bath) 800-1000 sf Each unit is to include a kitchen, bathroom, and living area proportional to the size of the unit. Vehicle parking is not required, but is encouraged. Schematics for on-site parking are to be included an alternative for each unit type. All the above shall: a. be single story homes of no more than 16 feet in height from adjacent grade at the highest peak, b. include the use of pitched roofs, c. be designed consistent with the City of Agoura Hills Residential Design Guidelines, including using architectural styles called out in the guidelines, and d. have the ability to have body and trim painted to match or compliment the main home.
