Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County, that the Director of Public Works will receive bids for the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and services for: On-Call Overhead Door Maintenance and Repair Bidders shall perform the Services upon the request of County staff, which may include without limitation: maintenance, repair or replacement of County commercial overhead, roll-up and fire doors. Bidders shall also provide maintenance, repair and replacement of power gates, power doors, parking lot gates, rolling gates and parking arms. Bidders shall provide all technical and professional services, including labor, equipment, test equipment, tools, transportation, and supervision necessary to provide the Services as directed and determined by County staff. Engineer's Estimated Cost: $500,000 to $500,000 Pre-Qualification for Bidders: Not Required The Contra Costa County Public Works Department (PWD) intends to award at least one (1), but not more than two (2) contracts, total of contracts not to exceed $500,000 to the responsible bidder(s). Each contract will have a term of three (3) years with the option of two (2) one-year extensions, and will be used as needed with no minimum amount that has to be spent. PWD is responsible for maintenance and repair of over 100 buildings consisting of a hospital and health clinics, detentions facilities, office buildings and airports, Countywide.
