The Dona Bay Surface Water Storage Facility includes modifications to the existing lake berm and embankment to create 364-acres of storage area, emergency lake overflow, installation of 8,100 feet of 72-inch diameter pipe to convey stormwater from Salt Creek rehydration area into the new storage lake and accommodate the surrounding properties off-site drainage flows. The Project includes earthwork, pond excavation, installation of drainage structures, large diameter reinforced concrete pipe, lake berm grading and aquatic plantings. Sarasota County, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, will receive proposals on the date indicated in Periscope S2G for the purpose of selecting a qualified Proposer to provide Construction Engineering, and Inspection (CEI) services for the construction contract for the Dona Bay Surface Water Storage Facility Phase 2.
