Renovation of a water / sewer project in Buffalo, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

No interpretations or clarifications will be made orally. Questions due for inclusion in Addendum: Close of business (COB) Monday, February 19, 2024 A. The Work is located at the Town of Amherst Water Pollution Control Facility No. 16, 455 Tonawanda Creek Road, Buffalo, NY 14228. B. The Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, constructing the Work described below and all related appurtenances. The Work includes, but is not limited to, the following 1. Demolition of the existing butterfly gates, located downstream of the existing bar screens, in the influent channels, along with all associated equipment (actuator, hydraulic lines, etc.). 2. Demolition of existing stilling wells in the influent bar screen channels. 3. Demolition of existing channel dewatering system within the channel dewatering sump. 4. Inspection, rehabilitation, and replacement of various valves, gates, and actuators in Building No. 1. a. Replacement of existing influentsluice gates with slide gates while using existing hydraulic actuators. b. Replacement of butterfly gates and associated equipment with stop logs in the influent channels. c. Replacement of existing pump suction butterfly valves and electric actuators. d. Replacement of existing pneumatic actuators on the pump discharge ball valves. e. Replacement of gate valves within the channel dewatering sump with plug valves. f. Rehabilitation of Sluice Gate No. 23 Rehabilitation/replacement of screening and valve systems in Building 1 Location - Town of Amherst Water Pollution Control Facility bidders are required to bring their insurance documents naming the Town of Amherst as additional insured and also complete and present the Notice to All Contractors forms found within the specification.
